      The State of Ohio, Pickaway County, ss.
      Shelby Stage makes solemn oath before me, the undersigned, JUDGE OF THE PROBATE COURT, within and for the County of Pickaway, that he is more than 21 years of age and has no lawful wife living: And that Fannie May Dresbach is more than 18 years of age, is a resident of said county, and has no lawful husband living; and that said parties are not nearer kin than second cousins; and that he knows of no legal objections to the marriage contemplated between the said parties. And futher saith not.

      STAGE.
      Mrs. Malinda Stage died in Columbus, Saturday night, June 21. Her death resulted from goitre.
      The deceased was in the 79th year of her age. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Nancy Enochs Shelby, and was born in Pickaway township, Pickaway County, December 19, 1834. In 1857 she was married to Isaac W. Stage, of Circleville township. To them were born six children, two survive, Mrs. William Betz, of Circleville, and Miss Eva Stage, who resides in Columbus, who cared for her mother. The deceased also leaves two stepdaughters, Mrs. Josephine Stein, wife of David H. Stein, of Worthington, O., and Mrs. Alice Dresbach, and also leaves a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fannie Stage, widow of her only son, Shelby Stage. The deceased was the last of the family of Colonel Benjamin Shelby, three brothers, John Shelby, David Shelby and Evan C. Shelby, and one sister, Evaline Reeser, having passed to the great beyond years ago. Mr. Stage died in 1890.
      The remains were brought from Columbus to Forest cemetery, Tuesday morning, in the funeral car of Tayor & Sharp, and at 10:30 funeral services were held in the chapel, conducted by Rev. Dr. D. S. Tappan.

      Body of former Circleville Woman Brought Here for Burial.

      Mrs. Malinda H. Stage, widow of Isaac W. Stage died Saturday afternoon at four o'clock at her home. At the corner of Long and Twentieth streets, Columbus. Death was caused from a goiter, from which she had suffered some time.
