Evans Mills Farmer Dies At St. Joachim's
Michael Fitzpatrick, Aged 62, Passes Away Following Operation
Michael Fitzpatrick, a lifelong resident and well known farmer of Evans Mills, died late this afternon at Sister's Hospital in this city, aged 62 years. Mr. Fitzpatrick was brought to the hospital here for an operation and appeared to be recovering untill late last week when he suffered a relapse and passed away about 2:30 this afternoon.
He was born in Evans MIlls and had always resided there, being a farmer. He was son of John and Mary Fitzpatrick, natives of Ireland. He was not married. Surviving are one brother, Richard Fitzpatrick, of Evans Mills, and three sisters, Misses Mary and Joanna Fitzpatrick also of Evans MIlls, and Mrs. F. A. Besha of Carthage.
The body was removed to the Guilfoyle & Cummings parlors, and will be taken Wednesday afternoon to Evans Mills. The funeral will be Thursday morning from Evans Mills Catholic church. Interment will be in Evans Mills cemetery.
