Winifred Byram (daughter of Peter Byram) was born 26 Sep 1734 in Overwharten, Virginia (Stafford Co.), and died 1795 in Kentucky. She married William Routt, son of Peter Routt and Martha Garner.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA. WILL BOOK -- PETER ROUTT
Peter Routt (17 -- 1765) came of a family long seated in Northumberland County; his 2nd wife is mentioned as a daughter in the will of Mes Martha Booth which
was proved at Northumberland County court in 1757. Peter Routt died testate in stafford County. His daughter Hannah Routt (b. 13 Jan. 1740 - 9 Oct. 1774)
married (19. III) John Withers (15 Dec 1738); son of (7 II) John Withers & Hannah Allen, dau. of William Allen and Margaret Waggoner [Margaret's brother,
connects with Sharon Pack Hagen (Jack Walter) Bailey's great great grandmother, Nancy Withers, wife of James Tandy Withers. WSB- Sharon's mother in law.]
Hannah Routt Withers, had seven children. She died in stafford Co. VA. and John Withers married secondly Dilly Allen and moved to Jessamine County, Kentucky.
The faamily Bible record of John Withers is preserved.
In the name of GOD Amen I Peter Routt of Stafford County, being sick but of perfect Sense, do make this my last will and testament. first I bequeath my Soul to
God , and my body to the earth ... worldy estate I give ... to my son Peter Routt and my son John Routt and James Routt each of them a new feather bed and
furniture, and each of them a Cow and calf, and each of them a sow and piggs, and each of them a Ewe and Lamb, and each of two dishes and half dozen of plates.
Item; I give to my son William Routt one Mullato Boy named Frances Lynrum to him and heirs. Item: I give to my daughter Hannah Withers, one Mullato girl named
margaret Lynrum to her and heirs ... Item: I give to my loving wife, Martha Routt during her natural life the Plantation I noe live on , and all the Land thereunto
belonging consisting of 250 acres, and after her decease I give it to my son William Routt and heirs of his body Lawfully begotten forever. Item : I give to my three
sons Peter Routt and John Routt and James Routt, a parcel and tract of land lying upon the great Rappahanock, consisting 663 acres to be equally divided into three
parts and John to have his first choise, and Peter Routt and James to cast lotts for choise. Item: I give to them and heirs .. and i either of them lack such heirs, his part
to be betwen the other two survivors, all the rest of my estate. be it real or personal I leave to my loving wife Martha Routt, during her natural life, and after her
decease, I give to my five children, to WilliamRoutt, to Peter Routt and John Routt and James Routt . my daughter Hannah Withers, to be equally divided between
them, and I do appoint my wife Martha Routt, and my son William routt, Executors of this .. 25th March 1765. Test Francis Brooks, Elizabeth I. Greenstreet, James
