Supreme Court of the District of Columbia, holding Probate Court. - Estate of Owen Woods, deceased. No. 13702, Administration Docket. - Application having been made herein for probate of the last will and testament of said deceased, and for letters testamentary on said estate, by Frank X. McKenny and Henry J. McDermott, it is ordered this 15th day of June, A.D. 1906, that Charles A. Woods appear in said court on Monday, the 16th day of July, A.D. 1906, at 10 o'clock a.m., to show cause why such application should not be granted. Let notice hereof be published in the "Washington Law Reporter" and the Evening Star once in each of three successive weeks before the return day herein mentioned - the first publication to be not less than thirty days before said return day. Will of Owen Woods.
The estate of Owen Woods, by his will, dated October 25, 1905, and filed today for probate in the Supreme Court, is to be distributed as follows: The sum of $1,000 to his brother, Charles Woods; $400 to his brother Arthur Woods; $600 each to his sisters, Mrs. John McKenny and Mrs. Henry J. McDermott; $400 to his sister Mrs. Bernard Kelly, and $400 to his niece Susanna Flannagan. he sum of $500 is left to his nephew, Rev. Frank X. McKenny, for masses.The executors are directed to sell premises 1601 and 1603 12th street, and, after paying the bequests mentioned, to distribute the remainder of the proceeds among the beneficiaries. Rev. Frank X. McKenny and Henry J. McDermott are named as executors.
