Mrs. Paulina C. Cool
Chaumont, May 7., - Mrs. Paulina C. Cool, widow of the late Reuben R. Cool, died Tuesday evening at 8 at thehome of her son, A. D. W. Cool. Death was due to a shock which she suffered Sunday morning. Her age was 84 years and 2 months. Mrs. Cool was born in Mohawk, and was the daughter of Rudolph and Catherine Cook. When quite young, she moved with her parents to the town of Cape Vincent, and while living there was married to Rueben R. Cool. After living there a number of years, they removed to Warren Settlement, where she resided until coming to Chaumont 18 years ago where she had since lived. She is survived by one son, A. D. W. Cool, with whom she lived, two daughters, Mrs. Frank Stetson of Carthage, and Mrs. Eliza Adams of Benton Harbor, Mich., one brother Lysander Cook of Minnesota, one sister, Mrs. Sophia Rickard of Pulaski, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
