Rosalee's Story
Rosalee C. Hedin of Mooresville died Feb. 11 at the age of 86.. She was born July 20, 1924, to the late Harold and Rosalie Brunk of Chicago. She married the late Robert W. Hedin in 1946. They were together 54 years.. Mrs. Hedin graduated with honors from Mundelein College in 1946 with a degree in history. She was a teacher over many years at schools, churches, and as a bridge instructor. She also volunteered at churches, schools, libraries, hospitals, and nursing homes.. She is survived by two sisters, Helen Ueberbacher of Stamford, Conn., and Virginia (Andrew) Lock of St. Louis; three daughters, Karen (David) Gooding of Plainfield, Carol Epplin of Sparta, Ill., and Nancy (Michael) Alderson of St. Louis; a son, David (Mary) Hedin of DeKalb, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Feb. 19 at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield. Inurnment will be in Hot Springs Village, Ark. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children
