Married at Rosiere.
Cape Vincent. Sept. 7 - Clarence L. Fraley of Rosiere and Miss Muriel A. Herrick of Fox Creek were married at 8 a. m., Tuesday, at St. Vincent de Paul's church at Rosiere. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Joseph L. Tierny. The couple were attended by Marshall Chavoustie and Miss Iva Granger, both of Rosiere. After the ceremony, a wedding luncheon was served at the home of the bridegroom. The couple will leave to a trip to Rochester and surrounding places.
Miss Herrick is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Frank Herrick of Fox Creek. Mr. Fraley is the son of Mrs. Peter Fraley of Rosiere. He was a member of the A. E. F., having been inducted Sept. 28, 1917, and was assigned to the 810th (310th?) Infantry and sailed with the 78th Division, arriving in France on June 4, 1918. He took part in both the St. Mihiel and Argonne offensive and was wounded on Oct. 17, 1918. He was discharged on Aug. 9, 1918 from Camp Dix.

MRS. PETER FRALEY, 89, DIES SATURDAY AT DAUGHTERS
Mrs. Julia Adams Fraley, 89, widow of Peter Fraley, died at 9:30 Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Granger, with whom she resided.
Mrs. Fraley was born June 8, 1852 in Cape Vincent, a daughter of Christopher and Barbara Reff Adams. She was married to Peter Fraley Jan. 23, 1872 at Rosiere. The couple lived on a farm near here. Mr. Fraley died May 11, 1919. Mrs Fraley lived with her daughter for about a year before her death.
Survivors are: three daughters, Mrs. John (Melinda) Granger and Mrs. Ray (Mae) Constance, both of this village; and Miss Ella Fraley of Ogdensburg; five sons, Frank Fraley of Cape Vincent; Milford, Clayton; Christopher, Evans Mills; William, Wayland; and Clarence, Bayonne, N.J.; 14 grandchildren, a large number of great-grandchildren, one brother, George Adams of Ludington, Mich., and a sister, also of Ludington.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Tuesday morning at the Granger home and at 9 at the St. Vincent de Paul church, of which Mrs. Fraley was a member. Rev. Michael Kelley will officiate and burial will be made in the local cemetery.

8. - The remains of William Fraley, who died in a Rochester hospital, Wednesday, were brought to Rosiere for burial in the family plot Saturday. Mr. Fraley was the son of the late Peter and Julia Fraley. Besides his wife, he is survived by four brothers, Fred, Cape Vincent, Chris, Evans Mills, Milford, Clayton, Clarence of Newark, N. J., and two sisters, Mrs. John (Malinda) Granger and Mrs. Raymond (Mae) Constance both of Rosiere.

Clarence Fraley
Cape Vincent - Clarence Fraley, 83, of Heightstown, N.J., formerly of Rosiere and Cape Vincent, died Saturday, Sept 18 in Princeton Hospital, Princeton, N.J., where he had been a patient for two weeks.
The funeral and burial will be in Heightstown.
Mr Fraley is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Al (Katherine) White, with whom he lived in Heightstown, and Mrs. Andrew (Alice) Feczko of Bayonne, N.J.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Mr. Fraley was born in Rosiere, Town of Cape Vincent, son of Peter and Julia Fraley and was educated in the Town of Cape Vincent schools.
Mr. Fraley married Muriel Herrick, daughter of the late Frank and Lona Herrick Sept. 7, 1920, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Rosiere.
Mrs. Fraley died in Oct. 21, 1967.
Mr. Fraley was a veteran of World War I.
The couple moved to New Jersey about 40 years ago.

On Tuesday morning at eight o'clock, at St. Vincent de Paul's church, Rosiere, occurred the marriage of Miss Muriel A. Herrick and Clarence L. Fraley. The ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate relatives of the young couple by the Rev. Joseph L. Tierney. The bride was attended by Miss Iva Granger and Marshall Ghavoustie acted as best man. After the ceremony a wedding luncheon was served at the home of the bridegroom.
Miss Herrick is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Herrick of Fox Creek, and is one of Cape Vincent's most popular young ladies. The groom is a son of Mrs. Peter Fraley of Rosiere. He was a member of the A. E. F., having been inducted September 28, 1917, and was assigned to the 310th Infantry _______with the 78th Division _____ in France on June 14th 1918. He took part in both the St. Mihiel and Aragone offensives and was wounded on October 17, 1918. He was discharged on August 9, 1919 from Camp Dix.
The young couple have many friends who will extend hearty congratulations.

Rosiere, May 18.- Mrs. Julia Adams Fraley, 89, widow of Peter Fraley, died at 9:30 Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Granger, with whom she resided.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Tuesday morningat the Granger home and at 9 at the St. Vincent de Paul church, of which Mrs. Fraley was a member. Rev. Michael Kelley will officiate and burial will be made in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Fraley was born June 8, 1852 in Cape Vincent, a daughter of Christopher and Barbara Reff Adams. She was married to Peter Fraley Jan. 23, 1872 at Rosiere. The couple lived on a farm near here. Mr. Fraley died May 11, 1919. Mrs Fraley lived with her daughter for about a year before her death.
Survivors are: three daughters, Mrs. John (Melinda) Granger and Mrs. Ray (Mae) Constance, both of this village; and Miss Ella Fraley of Ogdensburg; five sons, Frank Fraley of Cape Vincent; Milford, Clayton; Christopher, Evans Mills; William, Wayland; and Clarence, Bayonne, N.J.; 14 grandchildren, a large number of great-grandchildren, one brother, George Adams of Ludington, Mich., and a sister, also of Ludington.

Cape Vincent. Sept. 7 - Clarence L. Fraley of Rosiere and Miss Muriel A. Herrick of Fox Creek were married at 8 a. m., Tuesday, at St. Vincent de Paul's church at Rosiere. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Joseph L. Tierny. The couple were attended by Marshall Chavoustie and Miss Iva Granger, both of Rosiere. After the ceremony, a wedding luncheon was served at the home of the bridegroom. The couple will leave to a trip to Rochester and surrounding places.
Miss Herrick is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Frank Herrick of Fox Creek. Mr. Fraley is the son of Mrs. Peter Fraley of Rosiere. He was a member of the A. E. F., having been inducted Sept. 28, 1917, and was assigned to the 810th (310th?) Infantry and sailed with the 78th Division, arriving in France on June 4, 1918. He took part in both the St. Mihiel and Argonne offensive and was wounded on Oct. 17, 1918. He was discharged on Aug. 9, 1918 from Camp Dix.
