DIES SUDDENLY AT FAMILY REUNION
Charles A. Besha, Carthage, stricken at Evans Mills
CONVERSING WITH RELATIVES
Fell From Chair to Ground and Was Dead When Picked Up - In poor Health Two Years

Carthage, Aug. 12 - Charles A. Besha of south James Street, this village, dropped dead at a reunion of the Besha family held at the old family homestead at Evans Mills at __? Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Besha went to Evans Mills yesterday morning to attend the reunion, at the home of William Besha. In the afternoon Mr. Besha was sitting in a chair and fell to the ground. He was dead when he was picked up.
Most of Mr. Besha's life had been spent in Carthage and vicinity. For many years he operated the cheese factory at West Carthage, but poor health forced him to give it up two years ago. He was 68 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Alice Miller Besha; three brothers, William, Evans MIlls, Ferdinand, of West Carthage, and George, of Iowa; two sisters, Miss Nettie Besha, who lives on the old homestead at Evans Mills, and Mrs. John Fraley, of Philedelphia, N.Y.
The funeral arrangements are not complete.

Charles Edward Besha was married, April 19, 1898, to Miss Alice Hathaway Miller, who was born
Febraury 4, 1862, in West Turin, Lewis county, a daughter of John Almer and Mary Eliza (Hathaway)
Miller, both of whom were natives of West Turin.
