      10-29-94 Dear Paul and Elvia, Hope all is going well - better - and towards the Best! Thought I'd better let you know with no more delay that 'Mema' died Sept. 26 (as you see from the enclosed clipping). It was a quiet - fitting - funeral (at which Katie and I were asked to give readings from the pulpit. First time I've done that since my seminary days!)
