Page 13 of 'Kroonland' passenger list Amalie Sellman appears with sister Maria Webert (aka Margaretta Sellman) and Maria's son Louis [aka Lewis W.]. It appears that Maria Sellman Webert and her son Louis made the trip to Trimberg, Germany to travel with Amalie Sellman on her journey to the US. The assumption here is that Amalie did not want to make the trip by herself. Louis was 7 years old at the time. Perhaps Louis might have been alone while his mother was gone, so she may have decided to bring him with her. |
