Death of Mrs. Wm. Fraley.
Feb. 15 1921 (hand written)
The people of Rosiere and Cape Vincent were greatly shocked on Tuesday afternoon when news was received that Mrs. Irene Fraley, wife of William Fraley, of Rosiere, had passed away at the Sisters' hospital, in Watertown, at or about two o'clock. Mrs. Fraley became quite seriously ill on Monday morning and was taken at once to the hospital. While she was given the very best of medical attention all efforts to save her life were futile, and she passed away at the hour above mentioned.
Mrs. Fraley, who was twenty-nine yaears old, was born at Rosiere, a daughter of the late Achille and Harriet (Vautrin) Branche, and had always resided there. She was one of Rosiere's most popular young ladies and had a large circle of friends and acquaintences who will extend sincere sympathy to her bereaved relatives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three brothers, Lewis Branche, of Mexico; William J. Branche, who is now in France, and Archie H. Branche, of Cleveland, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Robert E. Donaldson, of Cleveland.
The funeral will be held Friday morning from St. Vincent de Paul's church, Rosiere, the Rrev. Joseph L. Tierney officiating. The remains will be placed in the vault.
