Text | "FERDINAND BESHA EXPIRES, AGED 80 (Special to the Times) Carthage, Feb. 25,-Ferdinand Besha, 80, died suddenly this morning at 11 at his farm home on the Pleasant Lake road four miles from this village of a heart attack. Although he had been afflicted with heart trouble for several years, his condition had not been considered serious. He had been around his home this morning before he died. Mr. Besha was born Oct. 4 1852, in the town of Leray, a son of Joseph and Elmira Sixbury Besha. He had always been a farmer and for the past 24 years had resided on the farm where he died. He was a communicant of the Evans Mills Catholic church and also a member of the Champion grange. Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Fraley, Evans Mills, son-in-law and daughter of Mr. Besha, were notified of his death and arrived at the home at noon. Mr. Besha leaves a brother, William; sister, Miss Nettie Besha; a daughter, Mrs. Fraley, and three grandchildren, Mrs. Walter Webert, Miss Marion Fraley and Robert Fraley, all of Evans Mills. The funeral will be Tuesday morning from the Evans Mills Catholic church, Rev. J. A. O'Brien, pastor officiating. Interment will be made in Evans Mills cemetery."
