Text | Elizabeth Hoover's Will In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Huber of LeRay in the County of Jefferson being mindful off my mortality, do this 28th day of June 1838 make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following to Wit. First, I desire to be decently and privately buried without any funeral pomp and with as little expence as may be. Also I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Sally Hoover and daughter of my son David Hoover the sum of fifteen dollars. Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson Aaron Hoover and son of my son David Hoover the sum of thirty five dollars. Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson Hiram Hoover and son of David Hoover the sum of twenty five dollars. Also I give and bequeath unto my grandaughtor Lydia Hoover and daughter of my son David Hoover the sum of fifteen dollars. Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson Moses Hoover and son of my son David Hoover the sum of twenty five dollars a piece to be paid to them respectfully at their respective ages of twenty one years or days of marriage which shall first happen the same to be put out to interest at the discretion of my executor and the interest and principle to be paid in the manner above specified and in the case of the death of either or any of my above named grand children before the age of twenty one years or marriage then I give the share of such as are deceased unto the survivors of them to be equally divided between them. Also I give and bequeath unto my grandaughtors that are above named all of the wedding apparel beds bedding and bedsteads that I may be posessed of at my decease to be equally divided between them. Also I give and bequeath unto my son Peter Hoover all such sum or sums of money that are in his hands and that he has received of the agent of the United States for paying pensions and also all such sum or sums as may become my due by reason of my drawing or receiving a Pension from the United States which was granted to me for services rendered in the Revolutionary War by Henry Huber my deceased husband. All the rest and residue of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever of what nature kind and quality soever the same may be and not herein before given and disposed of after payments of my debts legacies and funeral charges I do give and bequeath unto my son Peter Hoover his executors administrators, heirs and asigns to and for his own & their own use and benefit absolutely. And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said son Peter Hoover sole executor of this my last will and testament.
